I teach because I love witnessing the transformation that happens in my students — from the moment they walk into the studio to the end of class. I can feel the shift in energy, demeanor, breath, and overall presence. People arrive carrying stress, tension, distractions, and life on their shoulders, and little by little, something softens. Something changes. To me, that process feels like magic, and it makes my heart soar.
I started a yoga practice over 25 years ago because I needed a way to reconnect to my body and find relief from the tension that developed after long hours spent running a life-consuming apparel company. Back then, it was difficult to find classes, and with a baby at home, driving long distances to a studio was no longer practical. I found a few DVDs and began practicing in my living room. They served their purpose, but they lacked the sense of connection and community that a yoga studio provides. Flash forward to the mid-to-late 2000s — I experienced a health scare that, ironically, became one of the greatest gifts of my life. It was a message that something needed to change. At the time, I wasn’t entirely sure what that meant, and I even tried to ignore it. A few more years passed, and eventually the message could no longer be ignored, despite my stubbornness. Today, yoga has become more than a practice for me — it is a lifestyle. It is a daily commitment to self-care, curiosity, growth, and continual learning. Through many years of practice, study, and teaching, I have come to believe that yoga not only transforms the individual, but also positively impacts the collective through the energy and awareness we bring into the world. As a lead teacher trainer, my trainings are rooted in both the ancient wisdom and texts of yoga, as well as modern, real-life experience. I believe yoga should be approachable, thoughtful, and integrated into everyday life — not separated from it. My goal is to help students and trainees develop a deeper understanding of yoga while cultivating authenticity, confidence, and compassion in both practice and teaching. I teach because yoga has the ability to help people reconnect to themselves in a meaningful way. Whether someone comes to class needing strength, grounding, release, or simply a moment to breathe, I love creating a space where students can feel supported and present. Seeing students grow in confidence, awareness, and connection — both on and off the mat — is what continues to inspire me as a teacher.
I began my yoga journey in 2009. In 2013, that I completed my first 200-hour teacher training and began teaching the Bikram style of yoga shortly after. In 2014, I continued my studies and completed a second 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Robin Hall. In 2021, I completed my 500-hour training with Robin Hall. I have also completed additional training in Yogalates and Yoga Lift. Yoga has brought tremendous healing, growth, and joy into my life, and it is truly an honor to share that experience through teaching others. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is witnessing students experience both the small and big victories that happen through practice. Yoga continues to be one of my greatest passions, and I feel grateful to keep learning, growing, and sharing it with others.

I teach because yoga has been such a grounding and healing force in my own life, and I love being able to share that with others. Creating a calm, supportive space where students can slow down, breathe, reconnect, and simply be present is incredibly meaningful to me. Watching students leave class feeling more balanced, relaxed, and connected is one of the greatest rewards of teaching.
I have been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 20 years. My journey began in my native country of Denmark, where a demanding career and pregnancy led me to seek calm through my first Hatha yoga class. Experiencing the profound emotional and physical benefits of a consistent yoga practice inspired me to deepen my studies and eventually complete my teacher training at YogaWorks. I am a 500-hour certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance with additional certifications in Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. I teach warm, calming, and encouraging classes with an emphasis on breath, mindfulness, and presence. My goal is to create an inclusive environment by offering modifications and guiding students safely through their practice. My intuitive soft-flow approach is designed to leave students feeling centered, grounded, and relaxed. In addition to teaching yoga, I offer Ayurvedic health guidance to support overall well-being and believe deeply in a holistic approach to both yoga and life. Outside the studio, you’ll often find me cooking, visiting art museums, walking my dog Luca, or creating “hygge” at home with incense and jazzy music.

I teach because I know how powerful it can be to simply have a space to slow down, breathe, and let go. Life can feel overwhelming, and I love being able to offer students a moment of peace, healing, and rest. Watching people leave class feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected is what inspires me most as a teacher.
I have been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. A few years ago, I walked into Hello Yoga and immediately felt a sense of connection and community that kept me coming back. Eventually, I decided to deepen my practice and completed my teacher training with Debbie at Hello Yoga. Today, I teach Sound Healing & Restorative Yoga and Candlelight Yoga classes. I am passionate about creating calming, supportive spaces where students can slow down, release stress, reconnect with themselves, and experience deep rest and relaxation. I believe yoga is not only about movement, but also about healing, presence, and creating balance within both the mind and body.

I teach because I love the way yoga allows movement, breath, and music to come together into something that feels both energizing and freeing. I’m passionate about creating flow classes that help students move with intention, build strength, and feel fully present in their bodies. There’s something incredibly powerful about watching a room move together in rhythm and leaving class feeling stronger, lighter, and more alive.
