Who This Training Is For
Our Certified Yogalates Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers who want to expand their teaching skills and offer students a powerful blend of yoga flow, Pilates-based core strength, and functional movement.
Prerequisite:
Participants must have completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training prior to enrolling in this program.
This training is ideal for teachers who want to:
• Add a Yogalates format to their class offerings
• Strengthen their understanding of core stability and functional movement
• Learn intelligent sequencing that blends yoga and Pilates principles
• Gain confidence teaching a dynamic, full-body practice
• Offer students a practice that builds strength, stability, and mobility
By the end of the program, graduates will have the tools and experience needed to confidently teach Yogalates classes in yoga studios, fitness studios, and private settings.
The training includes a series of immersive in-person weekends where you’ll explore the foundations of Yogalates, develop intelligent sequencing skills, and gain real teaching experience in a supportive learning environment.

Yogalates Foundations• Introduction to the Yogalates method• Pilates principles and core engagement• Intelligent movement patterns• Introduction to sequencing concepts
Saturday August 15th 2:00-5:00pm
Yoga Integration & Functional Movement• Blending yoga and Pilates principles• Breath, pacing, and rhythm in class design• Smooth transitions and functional movement patterns
Friday August 21st 6:15 -8:15pm
Sequencing & Class Architecture• Designing effective Yogalates classes• Creating threads, transitions, and counterposes• Practice teaching segments with supportive feedback
Saturday August 29th 2:00-5:00pm
Cueing, Safety & Modifications• Clear, effective cueing language• Intelligent modifications for different bodies• Using props to support longevity and injury prevention
Friday September 11th 6:15 -8:15pm
Practice Teaching & Skill Development• Guided practice teaching• Constructive feedback and refinement• Building teaching confidence and presence
Saturday September 19th 2:00-4:00pm
Final Integration & Completion• Final practice teaching sessions• Integration of training concepts• Celebration and completion of trainingAdditional Training Requirements
To support deeper understanding and integration of the material, the program also includes a small number of additional learning hours completed independently
Additional Class Participation & Observation Components

Attend a minimum of 3 Yogalates classes during the training.

Enjoy unlimited access to additional Yogalates classes throughout the training program.

Observe 2 Yogalates classes and complete a brief observation reflection.

Class participation and observations may be completed during scheduled training dates or independently throughout the program.
Anatomy Education – Online
Students will complete short online anatomy modules covering:
• Core stability and functional strength
• Spine and hip mechanics
• Injury prevention and movement longevity
Modules are completed independently and are designed to support a deeper understanding of movement, alignment, and teaching applications.
Homework & Integration
To support practical application of the training material, participants will complete:
• A class planning worksheet
• Sequencing reflection exercises
• Practicum preparation
Training Flexibility
Participants may attend any or all training sessions in person or through live streaming. For added flexibility, training sessions may be recorded and made available for later viewing upon request.
This blended-learning format allows participants to engage with the material in a way that best supports their schedule while maintaining a high-quality educational experience.
