Whether you’re looking to teach professionally or refine your own practice, this training will strengthen your confidence, clarity, and leadership as an instructor.

Welcome to the Hello Yoga Certified Barre Teacher Training.

 

This training is designed to prepare you to confidently lead safe, effective, and inspiring barre classes. Barre blends elements of ballet-inspired movement, Pilates, yoga, and strength training to create a low‑impact, full‑body workout.

 

Through this training you will learn:

• Foundations of barre technique

• Anatomy and alignment

• Intelligent class sequencing

• Clear cueing language

• Teaching presence and class management

What Is Barre

Barre is a strength and conditioning practice inspired by ballet technique and influenced by Pilates, yoga, and functional fitness.

 

Key characteristics:

• Small controlled movements

• Isometric holds

• High repetitions

• Postural alignment

• Core stabilization

• Low impact but high intensity

Core Principles

1. Alignment – Proper joint positioning protects the body.

2. Core Stability – The core supports nearly every movement.

3. Small Range of Motion – Precision increases muscle engagement.

4. High Repetition – Builds muscular endurance.

5. Mindful Movement – Attention to breath and posture.
