Marianne has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 20 years. A need to find calm with a demanding job and pregnancy led her to her first Hatha yoga class in her native country, Denmark. Seeing the profound emotional benefits of a consistent yoga practice she went on to complete her yoga teacher training at Yoga Works and became 500hr certified with Yoga Alliance with additional Yin Yoga and Restorative certifications.
Marianne teaches a warm and calm, yet encouraging class with focus on breath and mindfulness. She offers space for everyone by giving modifications and guiding you safely through the practice. Her intuitive soft flow approach to class will leave you feeling centered and relaxed. Marianne additionally offers Ayurvedic health advisory to support people in their path to well-being. She believes in the holistic approach to Yoga and life. Off the mat you will find Marianne cooking, at art museums, walking her dog Luca or at home creating “hygge”, burning incense and listening to jazzy music.
